[每日E語] what-cha-ma-call-it 俚語介紹
有時候你會突然想講一個東西或物品，但就是想不起來他的名稱怎麼稱呼，在中文裡面，你可能會說：
呃…就 那個玩意
叫什麼來著的…想不起來
就…那個什麼東東之類的..
在英文中，同樣也有這樣的表示方法喔，今天每日E語來教大家幾個簡單說法，下次各位同學在詞窮的時候，或是突然想不到，要怎麼說出你想表示的物品時，就可以使用以下介紹的單字來代替你想表達的東西!!
1、whatchamacallit
這是What do you call it 或 What are you gonna call it? 或 What do you might call it?的 縮寫唸法，口語上唸很快就會變成 what-cha-ma-call-it,
讓我們一起參考urban dictionary的例句：
Do you remember the other day when we saw the... um(snapping fingers)... the... um, you know, the whatcha-ma-call-it?
你還記得前幾天我們看到的…呃…你知道的，就那個叫什麼東西的 ?
2、 doohickeys
What's that um...doohickeys？ I forgot the name of it....
那個是什麼東東…呃…我忘記了名字…
3、thingy
What's that umm...thingy that you mentioned？I forgot the name of it....
那個是…呃…什麼東西來著，我忘記了名字
4、thang
thang 是 thing的俚語，但發音起來感覺比較ghetto.. 或許想要聽起來比較嘻哈會這樣講?(哈XD)，但的確三不五時會聽的到這個用法。
" What's that thang ? "
" Do your thang ! "
上述四種都是指的同樣意思，可以用來取代某個你講不出來的英文
